Using real incentives that they can buy with their money

This will be my second year using banqer in the classroom. My students loved it last year, but to keep it interesting I started to include real incentives for them to work towards. I ordered 6 plastic cars that they could buy. Some students questioned why they would buy a car when it would give nothing back (a great conversation topic). So, we arranged weekly car races with prize money for the winners. This then generated new jobs as some students were very good at taking their cars apart and 'making them faster' (car mechanics) and others started up their own insurance business. Looking forward to using banqer again this year.
